Bhat condoles sad demise of Om Prakash Saraf | KNO

Says state hs lost veteran in him who always stood for communal harmony

ammu, Nov 25 (KNO) : PDP General Secretary Nizam-ud-din Bhat on Saturday expressed sorrow over the sad demise of Om Prakash Saraf-a renowned social worker, journalist and political activist. Saraf has served the state and has immensely contributed to local ethos. He is the father of well-known Journalist Pushp Saraf. Bhat visited the bereaved family and offered condolences. Omnibus’s body as per his will has been donated to Jammu Medical college for research purposes. Bhat said the death of Saraf is a personal loss to him. He said in him state has lost another veteran from Jammu who stood for communal harmony and followed principles of justice. “He was a wonderful human being,” Bhat added. Om Saraf is the first person from Jammu and Kashmir State who had wished to donate his body and second in India after Jyoti Basu from Bengal (KNO)
